Nanoblading Hairstrokes For Brows
If you’re seeking perfectly defined, long-lasting brows, you will love the results of our professional Nanoblading brow treatment.
The latest microblading technique to take the beauty world by storm, Nanoblading uses a super-slim microblading tool to create fine, natural-looking eyebrow hairs. It is a quick, easy way to obtain beautiful, bold brows – where the hairs brush upwards and outwards across the whole of the brow – as seen on Cara Delevingne and Rachel Weisz.
If you are experiencing thinner brows or hair loss due to aging, a medical condition or treatment, such as chemotherapy, our Nanoblading technique restores the look of your original brows, filling in sparse areas and creating depth and definition. The strokes are feather-like giving the illusion of real hair, even close-up. It is also ideal for eliminating bald spots, patches or breaks in the brow, which can appear due to over plucking or pressing with brow pencils.
After treatment, your eyebrows will appear fuller, fluffier and sculpted. Your brow colour will appear denser as the pigment goes right to the edges and sparse areas will be filled. Your eyes will look brighter and features will appear more defined as your eyebrows bring balance and symmetry to the face.
What to expect
After taking a patch test to ensure compatibility with the pigment – you just need to arrange a consultation at our skin clinic in Gerrards Cross 48-hours before treatment – with one of our experienced aestheticians. Here you will talk about your preferred eyebrow design and colour, your reason for seeking nanoblading, the treatment process and after-care.
After thoroughly cleansing the area, our aesthetician will carefully measure and draw your perfect eyebrow shape, checking you are happy with it before starting. You will also be asked to select your preferred brow colour. During nanoblading, our aesthetician uses a hand-held tool with a small head containing ultra-fine nano needles, each less than a hair’s width, to deposit pigment under the skin of your natural brow line. The fine tip enables us to draw hairs the same density and diameter of real hairs with extreme accuracy, mimicking even very short and wispy hairs, so your brows look soft and realistic. Because the needles are so fine, there is minimal abrasion to the skin, making it virtually painless and promoting quicker healing time.
At the end of the session a soothing balm is applied, and you will be invited to inspect your amazing new brows. Nanoblading is carried out over two sessions. The second appointment takes place approximately four to eight weeks after the first, and is to add any finishing touches, such as adding extra strokes or building the colour depth. Rest assured your brows will look finished after your first appointment, this is to perfect the final brow design.
Treatment name FAQs
Q: How long does Nanoblading last?
Nanobladed brows last up to twelve months, after which you may require a top-up appointment to enhance the shape and colour.
Q: How long does Nanoblading take?
Your initial appointment takes around two hours, while the follow-up appointment is approximately an hour.
Q: Do I need patch test?
Yes, you will need to carry out a patch test 48 hours beforehand.
Q: Is there any down time needed afterwards?
No. Your eyebrows may appear darker than usual (they will lighten as your skin heals over the next 7 to 14 days) and your eyebrow area may be slightly red, but this soon fades.
Q. What kind of aftercare should I carry out?
You will be provided with a full list of aftercare instructions at your consultation but as with microblading it is important to take good care of your brows afterwards. The main points to follow are: apply the healing balm provided twice a day, avoid getting your brows wet for the next 10 days (swapping a shower for a bath helps), avoid swimming, saunas and intense workouts, don’t apply brow make up and importantly, to let the tiny abrasions along the hair strokes heal, don’t pick or tug at any small scabs that form. If you need further advice, please do get in touch.
Q. Who is not suitable for Nanoblading?
Nanoblading semi-permanent eyebrow tattooing is suitable for most women and men aged 18 and over. However, there are a few conditions where we will require a medical note to perform the treatment, for example, if you are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy. We also can’t perform nanoblading on clients who are prone to keloid scarring or who are pregnant or breast feeding. If you would like to check whether you are suitable for Nanoblading, please get in touch.
