Threading has this amazing ability to be so precise in getting even the shortest, stubborn hairs. It has become increasingly popular to other shaping methods, like tweezing, waxing, or sugaring, as it doesn’t involve chemicals or heat to the skin.
So for the individuals with sensitive skin or allergies this method is perfect method of hair removal. It’s extremely hygienic as nothing but the thread touches the skin, and is thrown away after.
As it removes hair from the follicle it can last up to 4-6 weeks. Re growth is finer and softer. Over time, frequent threading can cause the hair follicle to become damaged and stop hair growth.
A thread made of cotton is pulled along unwanted hair in a twisting motion, it traps the hair, and uplifts it right out of the follicle.
Brow Threading
The brow shape with be discussed by your therapist whilst she’s cleansing the area ready for the threading treatment. Once the threading has finished brows will be brushed and trimmed if needed. Your therapist may discuss further treatment that we offer like tinting and semi permanent makeup if brows are sparse and colourless.
Face/Lip Threading
The face and lip will be cleansed and dried ready for the threading to be preformed. The skin is lightly stretched during the threading treatment and soothed with Aloe Vera gel after.
