Dermal Fillers for Lips & Face

Our dermal fillers are a non-permanent cosmetic injectable gel for the lips and face which help to restore volume and hydration. They are ideal for filling in facial lines and smoothing your complexion, resulting in a plumper, more youthful appearance.

All filler treatments are carried out by our fully qualified therapists at our Cosmetic Clinic in Gerrards Cross. The dermal fillers we use consist of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a natural substance found inside the body which keeps the skin hydrated and full. HA breaks down naturally in the body during metabolism and is then replaced. However, as we get older, our metabolism slows down so HA is replaced less often, leading to reduced skin hydration, volume and elasticity.

Lips – Looking for the best lip fillers in Buckinghamshire? Our lip filler adds volume and definition, while reducing dehydration lines that can occur in the lip’s fine skin – giving the mouth area a fuller appearance. It can also help rebalance uneven lips and smooth ‘lipstick lines’ around the mouth edges.

Cheeks – Our cheek dermal fillers help restore natural fullness and volume to the cheek area. They can also be used to enhance facial contours, bringing greater balance to facial features.

Jaw line – We use dermal fillers to restore strength and definition in the jaw line, instantly creating a more contoured, youthful appearance. It can also be used on younger clients to enhance the face’s balance and symmetry.

Nasolabial folds – Also known as ‘smile’ or ‘laugh lines’, nasolabial folds run from the nose to the corners of the mouth. We use dermal fillers to fill and treat the fold, making the area appear instantly younger and smoother.

Marionette lines – These lines run from the corners of the mouth to the chin, making the mouth droop downwards and creating an unhappy appearance, even if you don’t feel it! Our dermal fillers fill in the lines and gently lift the corners of the mouth, helping restore the mouth’s original shape and structure.

Chin Reshaping – The chin is often overlooked but is important for giving the face definition and structure. Our dermal chin fillers help improve the balance of the face, giving a more symmetrical, attractive appearance. It’s also ideal for reducing chin lines, shadows and dimples.

Dermal Fillers for Lips & Face FAQs

Dermal fillers are a non-permanent cosmetic treatment, with results typically lasting between 6 and 18 months, depending on the area treated, the type of filler used and individual factors such as metabolism and lifestyle.
Lip fillers may break down more quickly than fillers used in areas such as the cheeks or jawline. Over time, the hyaluronic acid is gradually broken down by the body.
At Spa-licious in Gerrards Cross, we can advise on how long your results may last and whether maintenance treatments are appropriate.

Dermal fillers can be used to restore lost facial volume, soften the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and enhance natural facial contours.
We offer dermal filler treatments for several areas, including the lips, cheeks, jawline, chin, nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines around the mouth.
Whether you’re looking for fuller lips, more defined cheekbones or a smoother, refreshed appearance, we’ll discuss your goals during your consultation and recommend a personalised treatment plan.

Yes, dermal fillers can create subtle, natural-looking enhancements when administered using appropriate products and techniques.
At Spa-licious, our approach focuses on enhancing your existing facial features rather than dramatically changing your appearance.
Whether you want to add gentle volume to your lips, restore fullness to your cheeks or improve facial symmetry, your treatment will be tailored to your facial proportions and desired results.

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are widely used in aesthetic treatments, but like all injectable procedures, they carry risks.
Common temporary side effects include redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising around the injection sites. Less common but more serious complications can include infection, lumps and vascular occlusion (blocked blood vessels), which can cause tissue damage or, very rarely, vision loss.
A thorough consultation is essential to assess your suitability, explain potential risks and discuss the results you can realistically expect. Seek urgent medical attention if you experience severe or increasing pain, unusual skin discolouration or any visual changes following treatment.

Although both treatments use hyaluronic acid, dermal fillers and Profhilo are designed to achieve different results.
Dermal fillers are primarily used to restore lost volume, enhance facial contours and smooth specific lines or folds. They are often chosen for lip enhancement, cheek definition and jawline contouring.
Profhilo, on the other hand, focuses on improving overall skin hydration, elasticity and quality rather than adding targeted facial volume.
We offer both treatments and can help you decide which is most suitable for your individual skin concerns.

At Spa-licious in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, dermal filler treatments start from £190.
The cost of your treatment will depend on the area being treated, the amount of filler required and your individual aesthetic goals.
Before treatment, we’ll arrange a consultation to discuss your desired results, assess your suitability and explain the recommended treatment and costs.
Whether you’re considering lip fillers, cheek fillers or facial contouring, our team can help you explore your options.
