Profhilo® delivers results quickly. After a recommended course (two Profhilo® appointments, four weeks apart) skin looks deeply hydrated, facial skin appears firmer, and fine lines diminished. Skin tone also looks noticeably smoother and fuller. In mature patients, even deeper wrinkles and facial folds – such as nasolabial lines, the lines that run from the side of the nose to the mouth – are improved, while overall skin texture appears fresher, firmer and more radiant.
You will be invited for a thorough consultation at our skin clinic in Gerrards Cross. This is to discuss your skin concerns, treatment goals, how Profhilo® works and pre and post-treatment care. Once complete and your suitability for Profhilo® is confirmed, treatment can start.
Lying down on the clinic couch, your face will be thoroughly cleansed of any make-up and impurities. To make sure you are comfortable, a numbing cream can be applied beforehand. The treatment is brief, lasting only around 15 minutes, during which our highly trained aesthetician will inject at five key points on either side of the face. Due to the HA concentrate’s free flowing consistency, only minimum injections are needed, making it a quicker and more comfortable procedure than a lot of other injectables.
There is minimum downtime with Profhilo®, so it usually fine to go about your day as normal. It is best to stay make up free, but if you want to re-apply your look, we recommend opting for light mineral make up.
