Sunekos

Award winning, Sunekos corrects and protects the dermis from signs of ageing.

Sunekos is the only natural product in professional dermo-aesthetics that stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, restoring elasticity and volume to the skin.  Not to be confused with dermal fillers or neuro-toxins, Sunekos is a bio-stimulating mixture of hyaluronic acid and amino acids that repairs skin cells and reboots the growth of the extra cellular matrix (ECM).

The treatment has long term skin benefits, creating plumper and smoother skin.  Improving texture and the appearance of crepey cheeks, fine lines above the lip and reduces dark circles and bags to the eye area.

Sunekos Treatment – Frequently Asked Questions

Sunekos is an injectable skin rejuvenation treatment that combines hyaluronic acid with a specially formulated blend of amino acids to help improve skin hydration, elasticity and firmness.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers, which primarily restore volume or enhance facial contours, Sunekos works by supporting the skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin. These proteins play an important role in maintaining smooth, firm and youthful-looking skin.
At Spa-licious in Gerrards Cross, Sunekos is used to improve skin quality and address visible signs of ageing, including fine lines, wrinkles and crepey skin.

Sunekos is particularly popular for rejuvenating the delicate skin around the eyes, where signs of ageing can become more noticeable.
The treatment may help improve the appearance of fine lines, crepey skin and some types of dark circles by supporting hydration and skin elasticity.
However, not all dark circles and eye bags are caused by skin ageing. Pigmentation, genetics and underlying facial anatomy can also contribute, meaning Sunekos may not be suitable for every concern.
During your consultation at Spa-licious, we’ll assess your under-eye area and discuss whether Sunekos is an appropriate treatment.

For optimal results, a course of three to four Sunekos treatments is generally recommended, with appointments typically spaced around 10–14 days apart.
Some clients notice improvements in hydration and skin texture during their initial treatments, while changes in firmness and elasticity may develop more gradually.
Results can last up to six months, depending on your skin condition, age and lifestyle. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to help preserve the improvements.
At Spa-licious, we’ll create a personalised treatment plan based on your skin concerns and desired results.

Sunekos is administered through a series of small injections beneath the skin. Most clients experience mild discomfort, although sensitivity varies depending on the area being treated.
Following treatment, you may experience temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or minor bruising around the injection sites. These effects generally settle within a few days.
As with any injectable treatment, there are also less common risks, including infection and allergic reactions.
Most clients can return to their usual daily activities shortly afterwards. Your practitioner will provide personalised aftercare advice, including guidance on skincare, makeup and exercise.

Both Sunekos and Profhilo are injectable skin rejuvenation treatments designed to improve skin quality, but they use different formulations.
Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids and is commonly used to improve the appearance of fine lines, crepey skin and delicate areas such as the under-eyes.
Profhilo contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid and focuses on improving overall skin hydration, elasticity and firmness, particularly in areas showing signs of skin laxity.
Neither treatment is designed to create the same volumising effect as traditional dermal fillers.
At Spa-licious, we offer both treatments and can recommend the most suitable option based on your individual skin concerns.

At Spa-licious in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, Sunekos treatments start from £189 per session.
A course of three to four treatments is generally recommended for optimal results, although the number of appointments required will depend on your skin condition and treatment goals.
Each appointment takes approximately 25–30 minutes, making Sunekos a convenient option for clients looking for non-surgical skin rejuvenation.
Whether you’re concerned about under-eye wrinkles, dark circles, fine lines or crepey skin, our experienced team can help you explore your options.

What to expect

You will be invited for a thorough consultation at our skin clinic in Gerrards Cross. This is to discuss your skin concerns, treatment goals, how Sunekos works and pre and post-treatment care. Once complete and your suitability for Sunekos is confirmed, treatment can start.

Lying down on the clinic couch, your face will be thoroughly cleansed of any make-up and impurities. The treatment lasts around 25 minutes, during which our highly trained aesthetician will mark the key points on either side of the face or neck. The patented formula are delivered under the skins surface, with a small number of injections making it a quicker and more comfortable procedure than a lot of other injectables.

As with any injectable treatment there is a small risk of bruising and mild swelling. It is best to stay make up free, but if you want to re-apply your look, we recommend opting for light mineral make up.
