Prior to booking your semi-permanent eyebrow treatment, you’ll need to book a semi-permanent make up consultation to discuss the type of brow you’d like to achieve and undergo a patch test.
Our semi-permanent eyebrow treatment results in soft, natural looking brows that mimic real hairs. Plus, your eyebrow make up will stay picture-perfect during workouts, swimming, holidays, weddings, festivals – even sleeping!
Topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the brow area approximately 25 minutes before the start of the treatment. While this takes effect, we’ll discuss your brow colour and apply a sample of the blended pigment to show what the colour will appear like once the skin has healed. Skin tone, hair colour and facial structure influence the final pigment colour chosen for you.
The brow area is then cleansed thoroughly, ready for pre-drawing the shape with an eyebrow pencil. The brows are carefully measured against your facial features using precise measuring tools to discern the brow bulb (the start of the brow), the arch (where the brow lifts) and, where the tail finishes. When you’re happy with the shape of the brow, you can simply relax, and the semi-permanent makeup will begin.
Our highly trained aestheticians use a specialist permanent makeup system which applies the pigment under the skin using fine needles. You shouldn’t feel any discomfort during the procedure, which takes around an hour to complete, depending on the brow technique chosen.
When your brows are finished, you can check them with a mirror and any final adjustments can be made. You’ll also be given appropriate aftercare advice. It’s important to point out that the brows often appear darker after treatment, however this will lighten 40-60% after 3-6 days.
Your retouch appointment, to perfect and build the brow colour, takes one hour and can be booked from four weeks after your initial treatment.
